Arya Senboutaraj attended the Minneapolis College of Art Design (1993-1997). Originally intending to become a photographer, but after two years of a photographic major decided to concentrate on a multimedia career with an emphasis on graphic design. He worked as a freelance designer at the Walker Arttrans ARYA SENBOUTARAJCenter, designer at Channel One News with Alexei Tylevich. They went go on to create award-winning work for broadcast for such clients as CNN, Reebok, DKNY, and many others. Arya then co-founded the influential motion graphics company Logan where Arya concepted, branded, and launched the G4 TV (a network devoted to video gaming and the lifestyle associated with it). Also during that time Arya art directed and co-produced two groundbreaking videos for Money Mark and Chris Issac.
After leaving Logan in the summer of 2003 the first direction work was a music video for the song, “In This City” by the band Enon, received much acclaim. It has led to collaborations with the Black Eyed Peas, Le Tigre, DeepDish, David Gray, Enon, The Black Heart Procession, Fefe Dobson, The Strokes, TeenNick of the Nickolodeon network and Yoko Ono. In 2006 In the fall of 2003 Arya set up Rainbows & Vampires. By combining his knowledge of live action, graphic design, photography, illustration, and animation Arya is a truly multidimensional director.
